Embroidery

I would love to learn how to embroider.  Unfortunately I’m not all that crafty when it comes to projects that require fine motor skills, and I’m definitely not patient enough to count out the stitches for the patterns.  So for now I will just Ooo and Ahh at all the beautiful embroidered items I see online.

 I love the texture of embroidery and the pops of colors against the neutral.  All of these items are just out of my price range, but I’ve had my eye on that lamp shade  from Anthropologie for a while.  It’s my birthday this week so maybe I’ll take the leap! As the wise Tom Haverford on Parks and Rec once said “Treat yo self”.
