Happy New Year 2013

Happy New Year, everyone! I'm really looking forward to this year.  2012 was amazing, I got married, was part of one of my best friend's wedding and finished one more year of graduate school.  2012 had a lot of big events, but it was stressful! Working full time, going to graduate school and planning a wedding was a lot.  But out of all of that I realized I have a lot of interests that I hadn't been aware of.  I discovered a passion for DIY projects, design, cooking/baking, entertaining, and fashion.  I'm hoping to incorporate those aspects into this blog.  The purpose of this blog is to encourage that side of me.  It's easy to focus on the serious side of life when working in human services and going to grad school for social work.  With this blog I can spend some time on other things, which I'm really looking forward to.  So, here's to a new year filled with fun, positivity, and inspiration!
